Leaders and servants of the Hungarian Gypsy Missions International attended a special training session at the headquarters, given by a representative of the US-based international Christian organization Prepare International. The two-day training focused on building biblical and godly relationships.
The speaker of the training, Drew Brown has already been to Békés before, as he said he always meets an open-minded audience at HGMI.
“For about twenty years, I have been working with the organization Prepare International, training leaders to think about things differently, to understand all the big issues of leadership, and to look at them from a perspective that we call a kingdom of God perspective. I came into contact with the mission through Ian Green. It didn’t take much time for us to understand that we share a common goal, and thus, our collaboration began. It has become very fruitful by now” – emphasized the speaker, who, on this occasion, served together with his wife towards the audience.
One of the participants, Ferenc Horváth, a servant of the Sátai Alpha Church, believes that events like this are necessary. The knowledge gained here can be effectively integrated into their everyday work.
“I find these training sessions very beneficial because they facilitate multiplication, and we can pass on the knowledge gained here to the members of our churches. This enables us to move forward based on our vision.” – he expressed his experiences.
