Welcome to the Healthy Habits Challenge! This month, we’re embarking on a journey of holistic renewal—nurturing our bodies, minds, and spirits in alignment with God’s Word. As we prioritize our health and well-being, we’re committing to cultivating habits that honor God and enrich our lives.

2024 June Challenge 1

The Concept

The Healthy Habits Challenge is designed to integrate practical habits rooted in biblical principles into our daily routines.

By focusing on habits that nurture our physical health, deepen our spiritual connection with God, and foster personal growth, we aim to experience holistic renewal in every aspect of our lives.

How to Get Involved

  • Set Your Intentions: Prayerfully consider the areas of your life where you desire growth and renewal. Commit to participating in the challenge with an open heart and willingness to embrace change.
  • Join the Challenge: Follow the daily prompts and commitments outlined below, dedicating yourself to incorporating these habits into your daily routine. Share your journey with us on social media using #HealthyHabits4HGMI to inspire and encourage others.
  • Stay Accountable: Connect with fellow participants for support and accountability. Share your progress, challenges, and victories as we journey together towards greater health and spiritual renewal.
  • Follow Us on Social Media: Join us on Facebook and Instagram, where we’ll share weekly updates about the current challenge, along with tips and tricks to help motivate you in forming and maintaining these new healthy habits.

Daily Commitments:

Week 1: Wake Up Before 7 AM! Start your day with intentionality by waking up early and spending the first hour in prayer, meditation, and reading God’s Word. Follow the example of Jesus, who rose early to seek the Father’s guidance (Mark 1:35).
Week 2: Nourish Your Body! Fuel your body with healthy, whole foods and commit to regular physical activity. Remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and honor God with your food choices and exercise routine (1 Corinthians 10:31, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Week 3: Prayer Walks! Dedicate time each day to engage in a prayer walk, allowing you to connect with God’s creation and surrender your cares to Him (1 Peter 5:7).
Week 4: Pursue God-Sized Dreams! Set aside an hour each day to pursue a God-sized dream or goal that aligns with His purposes for your life. Trust in the Lord and commit your plans to Him, knowing that He will establish your steps (Proverbs 16:3).
